The app allows me to enter my destination, which will indicate the bikes closest to my position. This feature is optional, I can also start a race without having entered the address of my destination.
🏦 We will make a payment simulation of €15, which can be considered as a pre-authorization that will be blocked on your bank account for 7 days. At the end of this period, the amount will be released and returned to your bank account. Depending on your banking institution, this process may take between 10 and 15 days before the funds reappear. Don't worry, we will not block a new pre-authorization until the 7-day period for the previous pre-authorization has expired. This process applies to all levélo users (subscribers or pay-as-you-go). It appears when you scan the bike (not when you unlock it).
The steps to follow :
➡️ I approach the bike parked at the end of the line, in the opposite of the fixed terminal. To unlock it, I click on the "SCANNER" button and scan the QR code written on the smartphone holder attached under the handlebar of the bike. If I can’t scan this code, I can also enter the bike number manually which is below the QR code.
➡️ Once the code is entered, I wait a few seconds for the app to connect to the bike. Once connected, the bike will beep a green light will light up on the bike, headlights will illuminate and a notification will be sent to the app.
➡️ Bikes are attached to each other via two magnets located on the right side of the bike. To release the bike from the previous one, I press the left brake handle of the bike and pull it towards me; the bike will come off naturally.
👥 Good to know, the application unfortunately does not allow to use several bikes with the same account : it is necessary to have two different accounts and therefore two phones to use two bikes.
